Their brand of entertainment fuses indie aussie rock with catchy vocal melodies and authentic anecdotal lyrics. Inspired by Taylor Swift and Billie Eilish’s lyricism juxtaposed with a love for 90’s alternative rock and metal, the vocalist Chloe uses both influences as inspiration to write poppy melodies that carry Couch Surfer’s songs. Josh’s gritty distorted solos and Caleb’s crisp tone and Beetles-esk licks perfectly compliment each other despite the contrast. Rhien drives the song with bass heavily influenced by Cliff Burton and Geezer Butler but mellowed by the likes of Paul McCartney and Leland Sklar while Patrick takes out his suppressed rage and stubbornness on his metal boxes in a style inspired by Dave Grohl.
